The best part was getting to sample everything after it was prepped and shot – 35 recipes later we were all tired, happy, and very full of food that was so tasty it seemed almost wrong for it to be so healthy!

Recently I spent the day doing a food and headshot shoot for Dr. Josh Axe for his soon to be released cookbook! Shooting photos for cookbooks, book covers, and cd/dvd covers is a fun challenge and requires special attention to aspect ratio, lighting, and color balance as shooting for print uses a different color space than the way photo paper displays color.
